FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Choosing a car from Dubai stock, buying it safely from abroad and how long it takes to reach your port.

What cars are available for export from Dubai?

This page lists the cars, SUVs and 4x4s in our Dubai yard that are ready to ship, and you can filter them by make, model, year and price. The models African buyers ask for most, such as the Corolla, Camry, Land Cruiser and Hilux, are compared in our best cars to export from Dubai guide.

Can you source a specific model for export?

Yes. Tell us the model, year range and destination, and we will source it from stock or bid for it at a UAE auction after an inspection, as our auction assistance page explains. The car then moves straight into export and shipping with the same team.

How do I avoid being scammed buying a car online from Dubai?

Check that the VIN matches the listing, insist on an independent inspection, pay a company account by bank transfer in stages, and never pay the balance before the documents name you. Our guide to buying a car from Dubai online walks through each step.

How to check if a car is exported?

A UAE car is ready to leave once the RTA issues its export certificate, which cancels the UAE registration, and the customs export declaration is filed. Ask for copies of both alongside the bill of lading; our car export documents guide lists the full file.

How long does the whole process take?

From deposit to a cleared car at a West African port, plan for about two weeks on the Dubai side, about 30 to 48 days at sea, then clearance at the port. Our shipping time guide breaks down each stage for Lagos and Tema.
