We help buyers in Africa buy a car in the UAE and ship it home, without travelling to Dubai.

Who we are

A Dubai car export team for African buyers

ImpressCar sells cars, SUVs and pickups in the UAE for export, and ships them from Jebel Ali to ports in Africa. Our showroom is at Showroom 12, Ras Al Khor Auto Market, Dubai, UAE, and buyers reach us on WhatsApp, by phone in the UAE and Ghana, or by email.

Most cars sold in the UAE are left hand drive, so we focus on African countries that register left hand drive vehicles, such as Ghana, Nigeria, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, Togo, Senegal and Cameroon. See the destinations and ports we ship to.

Ghana suspended its Certificate of Conformance inspection on 5 October 2026; if and when it is reinstated, our agent arranges it. Every shipment we handle is insured, with plans from 1.0% of the vehicle value for Total Loss Only and from 1.75% for All Risk Marine, as listed on our insurance page.

How we work

From the car you choose to your port

  1. Step 1

    Choose your vehicle

    Pick from our stock or ask us to source the car you need in the UAE, from a dealer or at auction.

  2. Step 2

    Confirm & pay

    We issue a proforma invoice covering the vehicle, shipping and any extras.

  3. Step 3

    Export clearance

    We get the RTA export certificate, file the customs export declaration and prepare the certificate of origin.

  4. Step 4

    Loading at port

    Your car is loaded by RoRo or in a container at Jebel Ali, and the shipping line issues the bill of lading.

  5. Step 5

    Ocean transit

    About 30 to 48 days at sea to West Africa. Our team shares the vessel and arrival updates on WhatsApp.

  6. Step 6

    Arrival & handover

    We clear the car at your port, or your own clearing agent does it with the documents we send. Duty is paid at the port.

Before you buy

What you can expect from us

  • The vehicle price in the UAE is shown on each listing. Export fees, shipping, insurance and destination duties are quoted separately before you commit.
  • A car is only reserved for you once a deposit is confirmed in writing.
  • Payment is by bank transfer to our company account against an invoice.
  • Every shipment we handle is insured; the plan level and premium are confirmed in your quote.
  • Import rules differ by country, so we check your destination with you before you choose a car.
